Chhaya Thakore

Welcome to our web page – my name Chhaya, I look after the Riley House Branch/Site of Medicus Health Partners.

Everyone is trying to make the best of the situation; we are committed to caring for you in the best possible way whilst keeping both you and the team safe. Please remember wherever you see the Medicus Logo you can obtain help and advice.

With the roll-out of the Covid Vaccine we are delighted that most patients over 80 have been contacted and offered an appointment. If you have not heard and you are over 80, please let us know. We will be contacting other groups of patients with appointments soon.
Meanwhile, we all need to keep to the advice of hand-washing, face masks and social distancing but we all look forward to the time when we will return to life as normal.

I expect all staff to treat you with respect and courtesy at all times and would ask you to be polite and courteous in return.
Flu Vaccine Appointments are still available from Medicus Health Partners.

GP Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS service to patients.

The average pay for GPs working within Medicus Health Partners in the last financial year was £51,900 before tax and National Insurance. This is for full time GPs and part time GP’s who have worked in the Partnership for more than six months.

However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the Partnership, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other organisation.
